M: Look at the printed climate table while I describe these four places. Notice that the two inland sites have a far wider gap between summer and winter than the coastal one; that gap is what we call a continental climate. The mountain station is the coldest, but it is not the driest, because clouds rise against the peak and drop their rain there.
